Andrea Jeremiah

Andrea Maria Jeremiah is an Indian actress, playback singer and musician, who is predominantly in Tamil and Malayalam language films. Annayum, Rasoolum marked her Malayalam and Tamil debut. She debuted in Tamil alongside Pachaikili Muthucharam. Andrea Jeremiah was born into an Anglo-Indian family in Arakkonam Tamil Nadu. Andrea Jeremiah's father is a lawyer in the Madras High Court. Her sister, who is younger, is a research assistant from Belgium and works in Leuven. Jeremiah lived close to Chennai she attended National Public School before graduating from Women's Christian College. Andrea learned to play piano during her eighth year. At age 10 she was in a Jackson Five-style troupe called Young Stars which formed the base of her early singing and music composing career. She was performer in the college, in a variety of shows hosted through The Madras Players or EVAM. Andrea was President of the Student Senate at Women's Christian College. Andrea began her stage career by appearing in Girish Karanad's Nagamandala. In 2006, she appeared in a brand new advertisement for Leo along with actor Shiva. She also acted as a part of a character in the Podhigai serial. The actress has performed across India. There was a brief appearance for the Kanda Mudhal final (2005). Gautham is a character in the film. Menon contacted her following the fact that she performed a number in the film Vettaiyaadu, to perform as the lead female character for Pachaikili Muthucharam. Andrea was Kalyani the housewife who's husband is involved in an affair. She was targeted for blackmail. Andrea was chosen for the part after actors Simran Tabu and Tabu were offered the role. The film came out in the early 2010s. Her minor role was accepted as part of Venkat's Mankatha in the year 2011, in which she starred alongside a variety of actors. She made her Malayalam debut on film in Rajeeev's Annayum Rasoolum in 2013.
