Niykee is still writing songs, even though she has been part of the current chaos. Niykee was selected to be part of the YouTube Brandcast by Snoop and he accompanied her on stage. The songwriting process is an inspiration to aspiring producers. Niykee is always listening to beats and discovers many which spark thoughts. She claims that she is able to discern if a beat is great in only 5 minutes. Then, a new song will pop into her mind. As I play my guitar in my front yard, words start to flow. Most times, it's done in thirty minutes. Niykee's pain in the past provides endless sources of motivation. The pain I felt growing up and that of losing my sibling is still reflected in my lyrics even though they're not literally. The lyrics are influenced by it and creates a more profound significance. For me, this is the key to succeeding.
