Ellie Goulding
Ellie Goulding is a British artist and singer. She was born Elena Jane Goulding on 30 December, 1986 in Hereford. Ellie Goulding dominated the UK charts in 2010 due to her catchy electronic pop tracks "Starry Eyed" and Guns and Horses. Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. Goulding is at the forefront as are Kate Bush and Imogen Sheap of contemporary mainstream music, and independent, hip-hop that is arty. Her soprano voice and ability to write emotionally authentic songs are what make her distinct. The final decision was to sign a major label deal for her label Polydor Records and began making arrangements for her debut album.
